Looks like Christmas came early! The Inbetweeners cast celebrate film premiere with beautiful girls and screaming crowds

Men of the moment: The Inbetweeners cast Blake Harrison, Simon Bird, James Buckley and Joe Thomas couldn't stop smiling as they arrived at the premiere for their film with their co-stars



They play four geeky teenage boys who are struggling to get into the cool crowd and are less than lucky with the ladies.



But tonight as The Inbetweeners stars took to the red carpet they were surrounded by beautiful and glamorous girls and plenty of fans on hand to cheer them on.





New talent: Tamla Kari, Jessica Knappett and Laura Haddock who all star in the film set in Malia all looked lovely on the red carpet





No wonder they were beaming and it seems that for Blake Harrison, Simon Bird, James Buckley and Joe Thomas their Christmas had come early.



The funny foursome arrived with their co-stars at the Vue Cinema in Leicester Square and looked a world away from their gawky characters.



The film documents their first lads' summer holiday together after they have finished school forever

Their destination is the 18 to 30s paradise of Malia with no parents, no teachers, no money and not much of a clue.



But while their on-screen counterparts might be struggling for success the actors were greeted by hundreds of screaming fans earlier tonight.

Simon Bird, who plays Will said: ‘It feels surreal. We didn't expect anyone to be here.’



James Buckley, who recently announced he was expecting his first child with girlfriend Clair Meek, explained why he used a body double and a prosthetic penis for some of his scenes in the film and said: ‘I was too toned and ripped, so we had to swap.’





Broad smiles: The funny foursome were overwhelmed by the hundreds of fans who arrived to greet them and Simon said: 'It feels surreal. We didn't expect anyone to be here'

The film introduces new talent in the form of Lydia Rose Bewley, Laura Haddock, Jessica Knappett, and Tamla Kari who all were looking rather lovely on the red carpet earlier today.



And familiar faces from the hit E4 series were also on hand to support the cast on their big night.



The Inbetweeners Movie opens in cinemas on Wednesday, August 17.
